The receiver is quoted as having a signal to noise ratio of 90dB so should be fairly noise free in silence passages. Equipped with 3.5mm (1/8") unbalance and XLR connection cables, a cold shoe housing to mount the unit into the hot shoe of the camera this package offers a great investment for audio recording from the supplied LM10 lavalier microphone. Although it doesn't have the sophisticated feature of more professional systems it nevertheless provides a very affordable solution to radio mics for amateur users.
