A tutorial showing how to hook up a pair of pioneer cdj 2000 decks to act as controllers and audio interfaces for Virtual DJ. This will work with any normal DJ mixer and all you need are the CDJ2000s and 2 USB cables. CDJ 900s and 850s will work just the same, but obviously some of the features are different on each player and the info that the screens display are different. If advanced HID isn't working for you, you may need to update your firmware. The Pioneer ASIO drivers and latest firmware can be downloaded from here: CDJ2000 www.pioneer.eu CDJ900 www.pioneer.eu CDJ 850 www.pioneer.eu Be sure to carefully read to firmware update instructions, you have to hold down certain buttons when you turn the players on and then insert a usb stick with the firmware on. The midi/HID drivers are automatically installed when you plug in the CDJ using the USB cable. Any questions or comments, just ask. If you're looking for instructions for Mac... It's similar to in the video, but BEFORE you start Virtual DJ, need to download and install the "CDJ Aggregator for mac". www.pioneer.eu Then connect the CDJs in the way shown in the video. I practiced for many days and finally got it! Awesome intense riffage and a Friedman solo (which are always great). This is also the first video where I play my Washburn with my new settings and cables. I lowered the resonance and low controls to make the tone less muddy. It sounds awesome on my Jackson, and pretty good on my Washburn in my opinion. Recorded the 29th-30th of October 2009 using a Pentax Optio M30 regular digital camera, audio recorded with an iAudio 7. Edited using Magix Music Maker 10 Deluxe and streamed as a 640x480 resolution Windows Media Video with 25 fps. Guitar: Washburn X16 G13 (with EMG 81/85). But of course, you have an annoying wire to contend with. This interesting little gadget lets you use your own transmitter and receiver with your favourite RC car simulator wirelessly. It's a very simple USB dongle. You plug the wires from the FS-SM101 into your receiver. Make sure your receiver is paired with your transmitter of course. What this device does is translate the signal it receives from your transmitter's receiver and converts it to a gaming controller. That's the gist of it. Optoma HD 65 and optoma 3DXL 3D Projector Adapter install

Though Id put together a bit of info on the 3DXl Projector adapter. The firmware upgrade for my HD65 came out towards the end of December 2011 so I took the plunge and purchased the Adapter and the glasses from Tesco Direct . First thing to do was download the free upgraded firmware for the projector which took around 10 mins from the very clear instructions on the Optoma web site. www.optomaeurope.com Price for the Adapter was £199 and an extra pair of glasses cost £59 also from Tesco. Initially I had a lot of setup issues and this really prompted me to put this film together. Main issue was red flaring on the screen coupled with blurring and signal loss on non 3d channels. Eventually I came to realise that the cables were not up to scratch from my sources (PlayStation and Sky Hd box) and also found a thread that suggested lowering the output of the HD box to 720p in the Sky setup page. So out to Maplins and got a 20m 1.4 HDMI cable (ouch ) for £60 and a .5m 1.4 hdmi cable for ( ouch ) £20 lowered the resolution to 720 and low and behold perfect operation and stunning 3d images. and full switching between playstation / Blueray and Sky HD Box. All in all a great upgrade which allows the viewing of 3d at a pretty good price . Saved me investing in a new tv and gives me 75" 3d tv at one swoop. Any questions give me a shout . Sorry about the poor camera work at the end I wasnt paying enough attention.

The song itself is just synched to the video - frame by frame to be exact - so, if you think I'm cheating, the song is tuned about 6 dBs down than the video, and then mixed with it, making it almost seamless, yet, you can hear my end over the actual song. If you think I'm not playing the song legit, I dare you with an iron E-fist to have some proof of it. Yes, my camera is bad, we all know. ;) Recording Information ...

Manning and her friends decide to visit the local video arcade known as "Dante's Inferno" where a new virtual reality arcade game called "Arcade" is being test marketed by a computer company CEO who is more than willing to hand out free samples of the home console version and hype up the game as if his job is depending on it, and it is. However, it soon becomes clear that the teenagers who play the game and lose, are being imprisoned inside the virtual reality world by the central villain; "Arcade". And it gets worse when a virtual reality game begins to take over the minds of teenagers. Canon should have included this port long ago, but I guess there is no point in complaining now. A single cable with no adapters turns out to be a pretty handy method for monitoring audio. This adapter does require Magic lantern to work properly. Also note that the audio output of the Canon t2i maxes out at 6db, which is enough to drive a normal par of headphones but the output level isn't extremely loud. If you need more volume or don't want to adjust headphone levels using the menu, I still recommend adding a headphone amplifier like the Fiio E5 to the mix. A lot of people have asked me how to record keyboards and other instruments/devices into ACID. This is my official response. Summary: An explanation as to which cables you need in order to record sound from an external device (keyboard, rack, turntable, mic, etc.) into Sony ACID (or any other software multitrack) and how to connect these cables to your computer's stock sound card. If you are not using a stock soundcard, ie the sound card that your computer came with, this video may not help you. This video should apply to virtually all PC stock sound cards and external devices such as turntables, microphones (dynamic or condenser), keyboards/racks (including the roland phantom, korg triton and oasis, yamaha motif, sr-3, etc), guitar amplifiers, vcr's, televisions, dvd players, and basically anything else that outputs sound.

So first of all, I have no idea how this is going to turn out once on YouTube. I finally figured how to record into GarageBand while recording a video with my camera and then go into iMovie and delete the camera audio and replace it with what I recorded... so the audio is really nice, however some of the alignment/video quality may be off... Hopefully not but yeah! Oh and this is all still one solid video/audio recording, I don't just record one section then go back and record the next. I do it from start to finish as if it were a live performance... because it is... Haha. Anyway, this is the first Nightmare cover I have done. I've been listening to them for over 2 years and have learned quite a few songs but never actually posted any on here. Well ta~da! Here we go. I have a new HDTV and i'm connected using VGA, just like my computer monitor. That means no lag at all when i play games like rock band. I also have the new 360 slim and I no longer have the towel on my power brick. i'll post a video of it sometime. Best to watch in high quality I was a bit tired when making this video so I apologize for the mumbling. Also, I had towels below the xbox 360 and power brick (at the time) because i don't want the tiles and the wooden surface to heat up. Also, sorry for the time it took to hook up the cables on the TV. Unfortunately, there is no pause button on my camcorder, nor did I have video editing software at the time. Also, pay attention to the shots when I'm testing Gears that way you can tell the difference between using standard video input for gaming and HD input for gaming. Also, I had the camera on my right hand the whole time so sorry for the crappy cam angles. I said "Also" too much... A tutorial on how to hook up your 360 to an HDTV.
