Best Pinnacle Studio 12 Settings For Recording (Dazzle DVC 100) Revised!!! These are the best settings that I have come up with (after many hours of tweaking and messing with the settings). The reason I like these settings is the file is not very large and the quality is good (For SD Dont expect HD quality ppl). I hope to be seeing some video responses below. Changes have been made to the settings to improve lag/fastfowarding which are shown at 9:25-9:50 in the annotation on the left of the video. .Full tutorial video on how to setup the dazzle, how to plug into your TV, how Pinnacle Studio HD works, and how to fix the LAG and the constant fast forwarding. !§!READ!§! Hey guys I got my goal of subscribers so im finally releasing a tutorial on how i get such nice quality in my youtube video. If you haven't seen my sample video see it here. www.youtube.com If your are getting Video/audio issues after recording make sure your codecs are up to date. Update M-Jpeg and PCM because these are the codec used. M-jpeg codec: www.free-codecs.com K-Lite Codec Pack: www.free-codecs.com If your get issues after rendering double check your settings. Make sure you have 128kbps 48hz. Also make sure its in CBR mode. This is my setup: These are the cables i am using. www.radioshack.com I got 2 RCA splitters and some cheap male/male composite cables. I plug the splitters into my Dazzle not my tv. I plug my S-video directly into my dazzle. These are all the programs you will need when following my tutorial. This is how to make an upscaled gaming commentary using a dazzle capture card. yes i know it isn't really HD, I use my Hauppague HD-PVR for that but this is good if you only have standard def equipment and people still upscale commentaries to 720p. but even if you dont upscale it you can still use this tutorial to make a standard def video. Read this before asking me any questions. This is the set up for both either Mac or PC Whats needed - 3X Male to female RCA cable splitters - Double ended RCA cables - Composite S Video (Universal if using not only Xbox360) - Dazzle (Not sure about other Dazzles but the DVC 100 works wonders) - Input on your TV - Computer (Mac/PC) How to set up 1.Plug splitters into Dazzle 2. Plug Composite S video cables into the correct spots ( Red to Red, White to White). Save S-Video for later 3. Plug double ended RCA cables into the other half of the splitters. 4. Plug S-Video in the correct spot. (If your using my S-Video cable make sure you cut some of the case.........(This is for all S Video cables....Carefully cut the case if it's too thick to fit in the dazzle...I recommend you to be very careful or get a parent to do it....I'm not responsible if you hurt yourselfs). 5. Plug the other end of the double RCA cable into the TV. 6. Turn on your gaming console and TV. 7. Plug in Dazzle USB into your computer 8.
