Megadeth - Poison Was The Cure (cover)

Megadeth - Poison Was The Cure (cover) Tube. Duration : 3.00 Mins.

Featuring the hardest riff (at least the fastest) Mustaine has ever created, claiming to be able to play like Megadeth can't be done without learning this song. I practiced for many days and finally got it! Awesome intense riffage and a Friedman solo (which are always great). This is also the first video where I play my Washburn with my new settings and cables. I lowered the resonance and low controls to make the tone less muddy. It sounds awesome on my Jackson, and pretty good on my Washburn in my opinion. Recorded the 29th-30th of October 2009 using a Pentax Optio M30 regular digital camera, audio recorded with an iAudio 7. Edited using Magix Music Maker 10 Deluxe and streamed as a 640x480 resolution Windows Media Video with 25 fps. Guitar: Washburn X16 G13 (with EMG 81/85). Amplifier: Peavey 6505+ and an Ashdown Peacemaker 412A cabinet with Celestion G12E-50 speakers. Settings: Lead channel: Pre: 7 Low: 4 Mid: 2.5 High: 9 Post: 1 Resonance: 0 Presence: 8,5 Strings: D'Addario Regular Light EXL110 .010-.046 Pick: Dunlop Jazz III If you rate it, please motivate and write a comment too. Thanks for watching! The powertab I used can be found here: www.ultimate-guitar.com (I'm "VikingMetalhead" in the comments.) You can download Power Tab Editor here (freeware): download.cnet.com

Bass Cover: Come As You Are - Nirvana

Bass Cover: Come As You Are - Nirvana Video Clips. Duration : 3.83 Mins.

(All rights reserved to Nirvana and all its affiliates; I am merely covering the song for entertainment and hobby purposes without the intention of gaining revenue or profits from the original song - nor do I claim to own any shares, stocks, or anything else affiliated with the band and all its branches, members, etc.) Yes, we all know the song starts with the guitar riff, but it's virtually identical to the bass riff... now that that's out of the way: This was THE first song I ever heard as a kid, seriously, and the first song I learned on bass when I started four years ago. It's really nostalgic, holds a lot of value to me, and I consider it appropriate to say that it is MY song, in a way, as the melody, progression, and the general feel of the song is what inspired me to really become a bassist in the first place. The way I recorded this was by listening to the song itself while playing at the same time, while recording my video and audio through my BP355's USB cable to my PC, so, the only thing you're not hearing is any EXTERNAL audio - just what I play. The song itself is just synched to the video - frame by frame to be exact - so, if you think I'm cheating, the song is tuned about 6 dBs down than the video, and then mixed with it, making it almost seamless, yet, you can hear my end over the actual song. If you think I'm not playing the song legit, I dare you with an iron E-fist to have some proof of it. Yes, my camera is bad, we all know. ;) Recording Information ...

Another installment in his Tool Drum Cover series. "It has taken a long time, since I first started listening to Tool, to really wrap my head around this song. The polyrythym itself is a truly brilliant work of art and I find it hard to believe anyone could have come up with it. While parts of the song may not seem as difficult, as a whole it is one of the most elaborate songs Tool has ever released. To all those who requested I attempt this song, I know its been awhile. Megadeth - My Last Words (cover)

Megadeth - My Last Words (cover) Video Clips. Duration : 4.83 Mins.

To make a long story short, making this video took about a month because first my mp3-player broke. When I got a new one my computer's power supply fan broke. After many weeks of waiting for the store to repair it, I lost my patience, went there and got it back. I unscrewed the power supply to see what was wrong, and seeing no problem with the fan I put it back together again. Hocus pocus and the fan magically started working again! I suppose the fan's contact with the power supply was loose. Anyway, my new cover is finally here! I actually recorded the solo in the beginning of October and the rhythm section in the middle of the month. Because I've downtuned one step (3/4 step from the "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying"- tuning) for playing Children of Bodom, I had to re-tune my guitar. Since it's a Floyd Rose bridge it's very complicated so I didn't want to bother adjusting the pitch of the bridge (I only re-tuned my guitar for this song anyway). This leads to the guitar getting out of tune very quickly, after playing for about a minute! So I hope you'll excuse the tuning and enjoy the playing instead! Recorded the beginning of October 2009 using a Pentax Optio M30 regular digital camera, audio recorded with an iAudio 7. I'd also like to add that the solo was recorded using only the camera, hence the bad sound quality. This is because my mp3-player was already handed in. Edited using Magix Music Maker 10 Deluxe and streamed as a 640x480 resolution Windows Media Video with ...

POD ~ Youth of the Nation (Drum Cover)

POD ~ Youth of the Nation (Drum Cover) Video Clips. Duration : 4.33 Mins.

****OVER 10000 VIEWS!!!!!**** Thank you all so much! This is a drum cover for Youth of the Nation by POD But you probably already gathered that from the title. :) Please comment and rate; I like to hear what you think! Drumset: TD-20SX Recording software: Garageband Laptop: 13.3" Macbook Pro Here's how I record my drums. I use this cable... www.google.com ...so that the two mono 1/4" cables plug into the L and R Master Out on the TD20 module, and the 3.5mm stereo jack end plugs into my Macbook, I then record right into Garageband. I use a 1/4" stereo to 3.5mm stereo cable from the mix in to my iPod for playing along to music. By default the TD20 records the mix in to the master out. If anyone records a drum cover with a track playing from your iPod through the TD20's Mix in jack, you would not be able to boost the volume of the drums, or boost the volume of the track, because the mix in is being sent to the master out. (drums and audio being recorded as one track) I wanted to have the freedom to control the audio level of both the drums and the audio, so I changed the Mix in settings to be outputted to the headphones only. I changed this by pressing the following on the TD20: Setup - F2 - F4 ...and changed the output on the Mix In to headphones only. This meant when I recorded my drum cover, ONLY my drums were recorded into Garageband. I then added the music in as a separate track. Of course, a Firewire or M-Audio recording interface would be ideal, but this setup works ...
