You probably already know how easy it is to create a song on the iPad, so we are going to show you how easy it is to connect your guitar to the iPad.. using Jam by Apogee Simply connect Jam to the dock port on your iPad using the provided cable. Plug in your guitar with a standard 1/4" guitar cable Choose one of the many amps in GarageBand and begin recording. Connect Electric Guitar or Acoustic Guitar (with audio output) to your Mac and rock your heart out with Garageband Application. The easiest yet cheapest solution is to use an adapter. You need 1/4" inch to 1/8" audio adapter. The idea is almost like external microphone, basically you need to convert that huge 1/4" inch output to 1/8" which is standardized in today's personal computers. (OPTIONAL & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) External Speakers are recommended when using Garageband. If you're using a Macbook (notebooks) Do not use the built in speakers especially when your playing rock songs. www.techvide.com
